刘华咏，博士，副教授，硕士生导师，1978年生。1999年毕业于武汉水利电力大学机械系获工学学士学位。2004年在武汉大学计算机学院计算机应用技术专业获工学博士学位。现华中师范大学计算机学院任教。多年来一直从事多媒体信息处理与网络理论等教学和科研工作。为本科高年级学生讲授“多媒体技术”、“动画设计基础”、“计算机图形学”等专业课程，为研究生讲授《数字图像处理》课程。近几年来，主持和参与多项国家或省自然科学基金项目。近几年来，在国内外有影响的学术刊物和国际学术会议上发表论文20余篇，其中被SCI、EI和ISTP检索多篇。研究方向跨媒体信息处理，网络数据挖掘，信息检索科研成果及其它科研项目：
